Seeking to provide objective content and productive reviews, Way Too Many Games launched in 2017 as the response to large publisher biases and sponsored content. Way Too Many Games has become a place where small developers can get the same exposure and treatment as their larger counterparts. Our small part-time team of eight writers was able to write nearly three hundred reviews within our first eight months of operation, reach more than thirty-four thousand readers, and build relationships with a number of developers and publishers. In the coming year we will continue to experience a growth in readership as we expand upon our industry relationships. In late 2018, we made the shift to also feature content from board game and other tabletop game creators, which generated a 27% growth in readership.
